It’s okay to get angry.
But uncontrolled anger can harm your physical and mental health, and relationships.
To manage anger, calm yourself with deep breathing or counting to 10.
Go for a walk or get other exercise.
Do an activity that takes your mind off what’s making you angry.
Identify feelings like frustration that lead to anger and try to deal with those.
Try to change thinking patterns that trigger your anger.
Identify the underlying cause of your anger, which may not be what it appears.
If you need help controlling your anger, talk to a mental health professional.
