Management Team

ROBERT J. DAVIS, PhD, MPH, PRESIDENT/CEO & EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Robert J. Davis has more than 20 years’ experience in health media. Prior to establishing Everwell, he launched and ran Newsweek Productions’ health unit, which produced the highly acclaimed PBS series HealthWeek, and also served as executive editor for Time Life Medical. In addition, he has been a producer for CNN medical news, a reporter for Medical News Network, and a contributing health columnist for both The Wall Street Journal and WebMD. He is the author of three consumer health books, Fitter Faster, Coffee Is Good for You, and The Healthy Skeptic, and an adjunct professor at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. A graduate of Princeton University, he also holds a master’s degree in public health from Emory and a PhD in health policy from Brandeis University, where he was a Pew Foundation Fellow.

LOREN GOLDFARB, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

A frequent speaker and recognized leader in the digital signage industry, Loren Goldfarb oversees Medivista Media’s business development efforts and operations team. In addition to helping launch Everwell, the company’s health media brand, he created and leads Panoview Digital Solutions, a division of MediVista Media that provides digital signage consulting and network management services. Before co-founding MediVista Media, Loren served as VP of Production at Home Front Communications, a broadcast public relations firm in Washington, D.C., where he provided strategic counsel to federal government agencies, Fortune 500 companies and national non-profits, and managed a large video production staff. Loren began his career in television as a writer and producer for NBC and its owned and operated television stations. His television credits include Dateline NBC, PBS HealthWeek, and ABC’s Nightline, among others. Loren holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BA in broadcast journalism and policy studies from Syracuse University.

ERIC YOUNG, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Eric Young is responsible for MediVista Media’s digital signage technology strategy, workflow optimization and client support. He oversees technical development and help desk for both Everell+Plus, the company’s digital signage solution for healthcare facilities, and Panoview Digital Solutions, which provides network management services for other digital signage networks. Prior to joining MediVista Media in 2009, Eric held several technology positions involving networking, database construction and Web programming.

MRIA (Yes, that’s how she spells it) DANGERFIELD, SUPERVISING PRODUCER

Mria Dangerfield supervises and coordinates story development, field production and post production for Everwell TV. She began her career in the mid-1980s as a video journalist with the then relatively new CNN. She spent 11 years with Turner Broadcasting as an editor and supervisor, traveling extensively and serving as part of CNN’s political and features units. In addition, she has written for Travelgirl magazine and produced programs for HGTV. She is a graduate of James Madison University.
