Getting enough iron is important for healthy blood. Here’s a list of food that are high in iron.

Getting enough iron is key for healthy blood.

Animal foods including beef and seafood are good sources.

You can also get iron from plant sources including:

– beans

– lentils

– tofu

– baked potatoes with the skin

– leafy greens

– pumpkin and sesame seeds

– dark chocolate

and fortified cereals.

The iron in these foods is not as well absorbed as iron from animal sources.

But eating them along with foods rich in vitamin C can increase absorption.
