But they don’t protect your eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.
For that, choose lenses that block at least 99% of UVA and UVB rays.
The larger the frames, the better.
Wraparound glasses are a good option because they block light from the side.
But darker lenses don’t necessarily provide more protection.
