Banana Smoothie Bowls Recipe

A banana split can have 1000 calories or more.  This tasty, dairy-free recipe slims down the decadent dessert while still satisfying your sweet tooth.

Banana Smoothie Bowls
Makes 2 to 3 Servings

Ingredients:
1 cup plain or vanilla soymilk
2 peeled, sliced and frozen bananas
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Optional Toppings: O-shaped whole grain cereal, crushed Graham crackers, chopped peanuts, chia seeds, coconut chips, sliced banana

Directions:
1. Place the soymilk, bananas, peanut butter, cocoa, chia seeds, and vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Pour into individual bowls and garnish with your choice of optional toppings.
